PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external preparation for skin excellent in percutaneous absorption-promoting effect on an agent having bleaching effect, particularly a hydrophilic agent such as an alkoxysalicylate or its salt, hydroquinone glycoside and vitamin C derivative, and excellent in safety. SOLUTION: The external preparation for skin comprises N-acetylglutamine and one or more kinds of agents selected from agents having bleaching effect.
