The invention relates to a method for blowing out a crankcase for an internal combustion engine consisting in blowing off the crankcase during the first partial load operating range by a first venting line which terminates in the intake line of the internal combustion engine downstream of a baffle valve, whereas during the second full load operating range, the crankcase is blew off by a second venting line which terminates in said intake lines upstream of the baffle valve. According to said invention, the first venting line is closed when the internal combustion engine operates in a deceleration mode.
