The brake consists of brake linings (3) in a brake caliper (1). It is in the form of a ring (4), with an external surface (5) and an internal surface (6). The ring is co-axial with a shaft. The brake linings act on the friction surfaces in a radial direction. One endface of the ring has a disk (7) connected to the wheel hub (8), and the other is inside the C-shaped caliper.
