The inventive method for stabilising voltage on the electrodes of drain-source transistors of the output stage of a B operation broadband power amplifier consists in setting a DC working voltage on the drain of each transistor with respect to the source thereof. The inventive output stage of a broadband power amplifier comprises transistors (1, 2) which are common-base connected to a common drain or collector, and a stabilisation chain for a reference permanent voltage supply, direct current supply and for a voltage follower (7, 9) for each transistor. In order to reduce the influence of the integrated transient load of the output stage of the follower (7, 9), a constant working voltage is alternately maintained for each half-wave of an input signal on the drains of the transistors (1, 2) with respect to the source thereof. The connection of the transistor (1) drain to the transistor (2) drain and to the output of the voltage follower (9) through a current supply which is embodied on a current determining transistor (8) makes it possible to maintain a constant voltage on the transistor (1) when the follower (7) is closed. Said invention makes it possible to reduce non-linear distortions. |
