FIELD: pneumatic transportation facilities. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pneumatic transportation of loose materials, namely, transportation of hot and cold poorly aerated materials such as cement, alumina, bentonite, etc. Proposed feeder contains pressure nozzle with caps fitted on its sleeve, one cap being installed for movement along sleeve at delivery of compressed air space, and lock. Space of caps is furnished with curvilinear partitions placed one in the other with clearances in between and communicating with compressed air source at inlet, and tangential channels to form twisting air flow at outlet. ^ EFFECT: simplified design, reduced power consumption, improved service characteristics of chamber feeder and reliability of pneumatic system in operation. ^ 5 dwg |
