<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reasonable network image processing system. <P>SOLUTION: At the system, an image processor 10 and a monitor 7 (personal computer) are configured to be connected each other via a LAN or an Internet network. By specifying the address (URL) of a Web server 4 built in the image processor 10 using a web browser function in the personal computer 7, the system enters into a status in which an image read by the image processor 10 can be monitored on the browser. In addition, while the image read is filed in an image file unit 5 on the Web server 4, it is downloaded to be displayed and deployed on the web browser. By introducing an external monitoring function for a scanned image, it becomes unnecessary to install or purchase an expensive exclusive monitoring device for image validation such as printing prior to external output, and the personal computer 7 of normal use can be used as a monitoring device.
