<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus with its upsizing and cost increase which can suppress curling of an ejected recording paper sheet. <P>SOLUTION: When an ejected paper full sensor 31 performs full detection (YES in #5), a comparison determination part 35 compares the maximum number of stacked recording paper sheets and the number of recording paper sheets stacked on an ejection part 5 (#7). When the number of the stacked recoding paper sheets is smaller than the maximum number of the sheets(YES in #7), adjustment of fixing temperature through an operation input is permitted (#9) upon the selection of a manual mode (YES in #8). Upon the selection of an auto mode (YES in #10), a temperature control part 38 decreases the fixing temperature by a predetermined degrees of temperature (#11).
