<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL light emitting element allowing entire light emission energy emitted from a luminescent part to be efficiently extracted to the outside over wideband wavelengths. <P>SOLUTION: This organic EL light emitting element includes a reflection electrode, an organic luminescent layer, an transparent electrode, and a non-reflecting coating composed of a one-layer or multilayer film; and is so structured that the organic luminescent layer is caught by the reflection electrode and the transparent electrode; and the non-reflecting coating is present on an interfacial surface between the transparent electrode and air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
