<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable plastic that is constructed so that it will completely return to soil or the like by biodegradation even if it is left to stand after discarded so as to save time and labor for waste disposal. <P>SOLUTION: The biodegradable plastics 1-17 are constructed by mixing the main material produced by pulverizing 100% natural material such as corn, beans, potatoes, grain such as long-stored rice, millet or the like, vegetable fibers such as weeds or the like, sugar cane bagasse, pineapple, marine algae or the like with a binder comprising 100% natural material such as persimmon tannin, konjak flour, pine resin, Japanese lacquer or the like through use of water and drying and solidifying the mixture into a plastic of a given shape.
