PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw shaft improved in corrosion resistance and extended in its fatigue life. SOLUTION: This screw shaft is constituted by applying a high corrosion-resistant material (30) to the outer periphery of the kneading shaft part (11), wherein at least a kneading screw piece (6) is provided, of a screw shaft body (2) to form an involute spline (20).
