PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge for a chemical reaction in which a predetermined protocol is easily achieved without individual differences, and which is of a closed type and disposable, and which is safe from viruses and powerful drugs. SOLUTION: This cartridge for the chemical reaction is used for chemically reacting a sample, and has two or more chambers which are coupled through a flow path in a container composed of an elastic substance, wherein a liquid substance in the flow path or the chambers is made to move by applying an external force from outside the container by means of applying external force, and wherein a region where the external force is applied and a region where the external force is not applied are provided in the cartridge.
