PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioning unit for a vehicle capable of preventing bedewing from being generated on a unit case surface without using a heat insulating material, enabling reduction in the number of parts and trimming manpower for assembling the heat insulating material by eliminating the heat insulating material, and enabling reduction in manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: Air heat insulation layers 31, 32 are formed around a drainage 30 in the air conditioning unit for the vehicle provided with a guiding portion for blast air attached on an upstream side, a blast air passage 11 in which the blast air guided into its inside from the guiding portion passes, an evaporator 13 disposed in the blast air passage 11 and cooling the blast air, a plurality of blower ports 25, 26, 27 and 28 for supplying the cooled blast air to a plurality of portions in a cabin, respectively, and a unit case 10 having the drainage 30 communicating a lower portion of the blast air passage 11 with its outside portion.
