PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a root preventing panel enabling easily and securely performing root preventing treatment for a plant which expands a reproduction area mainly through root spread. SOLUTION: This root preventing panel is set into the ground in a standing manner and buried through forming connection parts 6 to be connected in series in the horizontal direction to lengthwise sides 4 and 5 of a board 2 as breadth B reaching to the ground more deeply than the depth of roots which plants extends into the ground, and connecting a plurality of boards 2 with the connection parts 6 in the horizontal direction.
