PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thresher which is light and compact and has an improved threshing performance and an improved separating performance. SOLUTION: This thresher having a feed chain for nipping and conveying grain straws is characterized by disposing a threshing plate having many threshing teeth in a threshing chamber of the thresher and further a threshing net below the threshing plate, supporting the threshing plate at least with a front side crank shaft and a rear side crank shaft, rotating the front side crank shaft and the rear side crank shaft to crank-swing the threshing plate, thus moving the threshing teeth from a feed chain side to a counter-feed chain side to thresh grain straws, disposing below the threshing net the threshing chamber in which a threshing cylinder for treating threshed products dropped from the threshing net is pivotally spun, and disposing a shaking separation rack below the threshing chamber.
