PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the motor for the electric power steering arrangements capable of reducing even a torque ripple, and improving the steering feeling of a driver holding a handle while reducing an operating sound. SOLUTION: This motor for the electric power steering arrangements comprises a yoke, a field constituted by a permanent magnet of 4-pole ferrite fixed to an inner wall surface of this yoke, a shaft 4 provided to freely rotate in this yoke, an armature 20 having a winding fixed to this shaft 4 to be constituted by winding a conductor to 22 slots formed to axially extend to the external peripheral surface of a core 9 with a mechanical winding by a piled winding method, a commutator 6 fixed to an end part of the shaft 4 to be constituted by a plurality of segments 16 having a hook 34, and four brushes arranged in the magnetic center point of magnetic flux distribution in the field.
