PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless LAN device used for connecting an emergency call from a mobile IP telephone to a preferable emergency contact destination. SOLUTION: The wireless LAN device 11 communicates wirelessly with a mobile Internet telephone (hereinafter called the mobile IP telephone) 10, and connetects to an Internet network 13. The wireless LAN device is provided with a wireless portion 21 for communicating with the mobile IP telephone 10, a network interface portion 26 for communicating with the Internet network 13, a storage portion for storing a location information table 22 including location information 22a and a discrimination portion 23 for identifying if a call from the mobile IP telephone 10 is either the emergency call or not. When the discrimination portion 23 decides that the call from the mobile IP telephone 10 is the emergency call, the emergency call and the location information 22a added thereto are sent to the Internet network 13.
