PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the information of directions and the current positions, cautions, warnings, and the current spatial status for visually handicapped persons by using the tactile sense in place of their sense of directions and the visual information. SOLUTION: A plate having various braille-like pictographs wherein various arbitrate combinations to give information are made by forming projections is formed along the hand rail.
