PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser measuring apparatus applied to, for example, generation gas in coal gasification. SOLUTION: The laser measuring apparatus comprises a laser means 23 for making gas 21 to be measured in a measuring field 20 irradiated with a laser beam 22; a spectrograph 25 for measuring the intensity of each wavelength by Raman scattered light 24 generated from the gas 21 by the irradiation of the laser beams 22; a photodetector 28 for measuring a Mie scattered light 27 generated from dust in the gas 21 by the irradiation of the laser beam 22; and a data processing means 29 that is a calculation section, for calculating the amount of heat generation and the amount of dust in the gas 21 from the result of the measuring.
