HEAT-INSULATING COATING MATERIAL FOR PAVEMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat-insulating coating material for pavement capable of forming a coating film having high heat-nsulating performance and controlling heat conduction to asphalt pavement and concrete pavement, or the like with reduced heat absorption by reflecting and radiating IR rays of the sunlight. SOLUTION: This coating material comprises (A) a coating film forming ingredient, and (B) a pigment showing absorption in the visible region and reflection in the near IR region and/or (C) hollow particles. The ingredient (A) comprises (A1) an acrylic acid alkyl ester or a methacrylic acid alkyl ester, (A2) an acrylic polymer soluble in the ingredient (A1), (A3) a plasticizer soluble in the ingredient (A1), (A4) a compound having at least two polymerizable double bonds and (A5) a paraffin or wax having a melting point of≥40°C.
