The invention relates to a composition for the oxidation dyeing of keratin fibres, for example, human keratin fibres such as the hair, comprising at least one oxidation base chosen from 4,5-diamino-1-(beta-hydroxyethyl)-1H-pyrazole and 4,5-diamino-1-(beta-methoxyethyl)-1H-pyrazole, and the addition salts therof and at least one coupler chosen from 6-hydroxyindole and the addition salts therof. The invention also relates to a dyeing process using this composition.
