It is intended to provide a human antibody or its active fragment which bind s specifically to human platelet membrane glycoprotein VI but never induces human platelet aggregation by itself; a cell producing the above-described antibody or its active fragment; a medicinal composition containing the abov e- described antibody or its active fragment as the active ingredient and so on . The above cell can be obtained by, for example, activating human peripheral lymphocytes capable of producing an autoantibody against GPVI by in vitro immunization under specific conditions, preparing hybridomas with mouse myeloma cells, and then selecting a hybridoma that produces a monoclonal antibody being capable of binding to GPVI and having an activity of inhibiti ng the aggregation ability of human platelets by collagen.
