<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper-base printing medium which realizes a photographic image quality, is preferably at a low cost, exhibits a high printing quality, a wide color range and a high image durability, and brings about a more excellent wet bleeding and wet color shift when it is compared with a printing medium of a photographic base paper. <P>SOLUTION: The printing medium (2) with improved image quality and durability comprises a coated paper base (6) and an ink receiving layer (4).
