PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a trouble for improving quality and yields.

SOLUTION: This management value updating device 10 arranged under a production management system 100 of a plant is provided with a management value computing part 13 communicatively connected to a process data collection device 141 collecting process data from the plant and to an examination result data collection device 152 collecting examination data from an examination device 202. On the basis of the process data, the computing part 13 updates a management value for applying a management schema to the process data toward the management value limit developing direction within a range giving a normal examination result data. In this way, a management limit value can be widened maximally based on the actual process data, and stop of the process can be minimized.
