<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system capable of objectively evaluating the competition result of players. <P>SOLUTION: A game device 2a connects with a host computer 3 through a communication line 4a when there is a request for playing a competition game, to provide the host computer 3 with the competition request and to receive information on an opponent from the host computer 3. The above operation is executed also between a game device 2b and the host computer 3.
