PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability of a transmission node installed for vehicle apparatus including nonintelligent apparatus. SOLUTION: In the information transmission system, signal information is collected through a transmission node to a vehicle information unit provided in each vehicle from an apparatus arranged on the operating stand and in the operating room of an electric vehicle and from an apparatus mounted on each vehicle. The transmission node comprises two transmission signal processing systems for processing the same I/O signal in parallel, and a fail-safe circuit (281) for collating the I/O signals processed by both signal processing systems and outputting a signal from any one transmission signal processing system if an abnormality does not exist as a result of collation otherwise outputting a safe side signal.
