PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic charge image developing yellow toner which has favorable offset resistance and storage property, which can be fixed at low temperature, and which gives high image density. SOLUTION: The toner contains toner particles comprising at least a binder resin, a yellow pigment and a release agent. In the toner particles having 3 to 8μm volume average particle size (DV) with 0.95 to 0.995 average circularity and having an island-like isolated phase in its cross-sectional image and the maximum diameter of the cross-sectional image 0.6 to 1.2 times as the volume average particle size, such particles having≥1μm maximum diameter of the island-like isolated phase and having the island-like isolated phase nearest to the toner particle surface, the nearest isolated phase present at a distance between the outermost part of the phase and the particle surface 0.01 to 0.15 time of the particle diameter, are included by 15 to 70% on a number basis. When a dispersion liquid prepared by dispersing 0.2 g of the toner in 100 ml tetrahydrofuran is filtered through a filter having 0.45μm pore size, the obtained filtrate shows≥5 color differenceΔE with respect to tetrahydrofuran measured by a spectrophotometer.
