PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital single-lens reflex camera of which adjustment of a focal point of the photographing lens is accurately made manually by a photographer, even when the camera is equipped with a photographing lens that is not compatible with an auto focus function. SOLUTION: A main CPU 201 calculates data for compensating a focus deviation at the time of indicating a focus aid, based on the result of detecting a focusing position of a manual focus lens using an AF sensor 208, and the focusing position detected from a change in the contrast of a subject imaged by an image pick-up device 219 at the same lens position.
