PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the twist of a tie bar shaft caused by tightening a clamp nut by making the tightening direction of the clamp nut same. SOLUTION: The tie bar of the mold clamping device is constituted so as to insert and support the movable plate between a pressure receiving plate and a feed die plate, both of which are connected at corner parts so as to make the same freely movable with respect to the fixed die plate and the screw directions of the screw shafts provided to both ends of a shaft are made different by left-handed and right-handed screws to make the clamp nut tightening directions of both screw shafts same.
