PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an operator is required to go to a place where a parent device is arranged when the operator wants to fix the operational setting of a security device or to confirm its operational status, since the security device can communicate only with the parent device due to the configuration. SOLUTION: A security device is provided with an infrared communication means 7 which communicates with a portable terminal device 6. Therefore, an operator is not required to go to a place where a parent device 1 is arranged when he wants to fix the operational setting of the security device or to confirm its operational status, since a control means 15 communicates with the portable terminal device 6 by using the infrared communication means 7 to control a sensor detection means 4.
