PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact pump device separating solid foreign matter from sewage and allowing it to flow into a pumping well, coping with unknown water like a large amount of rainfall. SOLUTION: This pump device is equipped with a first water introduction channel P1 introducing sewage flowing into an inflow water channel 2 to the pumping well 8 through a pump 7, and a second water introduction channel P2 directly introducing the sewage, overflowing the inflow water channel 2, to the pumping well 8. The first water introduction channel P1 is provided with solid foreign matter separating tanks 5, 6 separating the solid foreign matter from the sewage and allowing it to flow into the pumping well 8 and discharging the separated solid foreign matter into a drainage 9 by the pump 7 along with the sewage collected in the pumping well 8. The second water introduction channel P2 is provided with a filtration mechanism 4 separating the solid foreign matter from the sewage and allowing it to flow into the pump well 8.
