PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container bottom protective member that is easily produced at a low cost and does not lower workability. SOLUTION: The bottom protection member 10 comprises a receiving part 20 that receives the leading end of an edge 18, an internal wall 22 that is in contact with the internal face of the edge 18, and an external wall 24 that is in contact with the external face of the edge 18. The receiving part 20, the internal wall 22, and the external wall 24 are made of an elastic material so that they are linearly integrated. When the bottom protective member is attached to the container 12, the receiving part 20, internal wall 22, and external wall 24 are elastically deformed in a curved line.
