PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper blade which is capable of facilitating firm installation and has a connection member without need for extra components because of the rigid installation. SOLUTION: This wiper blade 1 comprises: blade rubber 5 for wiping a surface to be wiped; vertebras 7A and 7B installed on both sides of the blade rubber 5; the connection member 3 for integrally retaining the vertebras 7A and 7B, and the blade rubber 5. The connection member 3 comprises protruding portions 19A and 19B having slits 24A and 24B. The vertebras 7A and 7B comprise notches 15A and 15B on which the protruding portions 19A and 19B are formed. The slits 24A and 24B are fitted to edges (engagement surfaces) 17A and 17B of the notches 15A and 15B, thus the connection member 3 is fixed to the vertebras 7A and 7B. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
