PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insole of a shoe, and the shoe equipped with the insole provided with sufficient cushioning property and capable of positively transmitting force from the foot to the shoe to make a walking state desirable. SOLUTION: This insole detachably mountable in the shoe is provided with an insole body 1 formed of an elastic material, and a through hole 7 is formed in the insole body, a heel region facing the heel of the foot. The through hole is formed in such a size that at least a part of the heel of the foot placed on the insole body 1 abuts on the inside of the shoe through the through hole 7 in the state of the insole body 1 being mounted in the shoe.
