PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device of a game machine capable of automatically returning a key in its original reference position after rotating the key inserted into a cylinder lock for unlocking. SOLUTION: A clasp member unit 1 is attached to a case 28 of the game machine and a cylinder lock unit 11 having a cylinder lock 17 is attached to a front door 30. Hook members 4 and 5 are tiltably pivoted to the upper part and the lower part of a base frame 2 of the clasp member unit 11, the upper/lower hook members 4 and 5 are connected by a connecting rod 6 disposed slidably along the base frame 2, and the connecting rod 6 is provided with an engagement part. The cylinder lock 17 is attached to an attachment plate 13 of the base frame 12 of the cylinder unit 11 with its lock shaft 17c inserted in the inside, and the engagement member 18 is fixed to the lock shaft 17c. The engagement member 18 is provided with an engagement projection 18a engaged with the engagement part of the connecting rod 6 when closing the front door and a spring member 37 energizing the lock shaft 17c to return to the insertion position of the key is disposed adjacent to the tip of the lock shaft 17c of the cylinder lock 17.
