PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic application body capable of smoothly applying a liquid cosmetic to all faces to be applied. SOLUTION: In an application section (4) of a cosmetic application body (1), while the circumference edge (7a) of a cross-section (6) perpendicular to a holding stem (3) of the spreading section (4) is in the shape of a regular hexagon, since the kinds of lengths of fibers in the spreading section which applies the liquid cosmetic, increase remarkably by deflecting the position of the holding stem(3) from the center (11) of a circumcircle (10) which connects the apices (8) of the circumference edge (7a) of the cross-section (6) in the shape of the regular hexagon, the liquid cosmetic can be smoothly applied to all the faces to be applied.
