PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article of which the visual change inclusive of the discoloration caused by urination or the like is easily recognized from the outside. SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 is equipped with an absorbent core 41 and the liquid impermeable back sheet 3 provided on the side opposite to the surface opposed to the skin of a wearer of the absorbent core 41 and has a crotch pert B, and the abdominal part C and the back part A both of which are respectively extended forward and rearward from the crotch part B. The absorbent article 1 has a plurality of linear unchangeable patterns 12 not visually changed upon the contact with moisture and also has a plarality of linear changeable patterns 10 containing a hydrophilic agent visually changed upon the contact with moisture at the predetermined region between the absorbent core 41 and the back sheet 3.
