PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movable shelf apparatus that can secure each movable shelf to advance straight even without any rail. SOLUTION: The movable shelf apparatus has a fixed shelf 2 whose longitudinal side faces to a cross direction and a plurality of movable shelves 3 that are juxtaposed on its one side on a floor surface 1 and each movable shelf 3 runs to and from towards or away from the fixed shelf 2. The movable shelf apparatus is provided with a guiding rod 6 that stretches out toward the running direction of the movable shelf 3 on the upper edge of the center to the cross direction of the fixed shelf 2. The apparatus is also provided with a receptacle roller that rolls along the bottom side of the guiding rod 6 facing the cross direction and at least one pair of horizontal rollers 17, 17 that sandwitch the guiding rod 6 from front and back on the upper edge of the movable shelf 3.
