PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a submerged power generating device rotating a hydraulic turbine and generating electric power by utilizing buoyancy of air and an exhausting force of liquid current. SOLUTION: In a floating body 31 floated in liquid W, a pressure tank 33 is provided at the height of the waterlineγ. The liquid W is introduced from the periphery of the floating body 31 into the pressure tank 33. Air is introduced into the pressure tank 33 by a compressor 38 to exhaust the liquid in the pressure tank and rotate the hydraulic turbine 36 of a generator 37 provided at an outlet of a water pressure pipe 16 connected to a bottom part in the pressure tank 33. Introducing the air by the compressor 38 from the downstream side of the hydraulic turbine 36 makes the air buoyancy from the compressor 38 act on the hydraulic turbine 36.
