PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underground wall capable of dispensing with improvement of the ground in the vicinity of start and arrival parts of a shield machine in a shield construction method. SOLUTION: This wall member 11 for shield construction method has a digging enabling part 15 enabling start or arrival of the shield machine and a joint part 16 connected in an end part of the digging enabling part 15, and the digging enabling part 15 is formed by a fiber reinforced resin. The joint part 16 can be connected with a liner plate 10 provided separately to form the underground wall 1 having a space inside it by connecting with the liner plate 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
