The machine (1) for the filling and sealing of packings comprises several process stations (2-8) each equipped with a robot, whereby the robots of each station have a constructionally similar robot mechanism. The robots of the individual process stations are arranged in a row and especially on a line on one side of the machine. The machine includes an automatic feed unit (11) by means of which the packings are transported between stations. The robots can move away from the machine perpendicularly to the feed direction of the feed unit.
