PURPOSE: Provided is an operating method of a cost effective floating vessel having no internal space, in which the floating vessel automatically intercepts water (or fluid) flow into a water tank if the amount of the water inputted is greater than a given limit. CONSTITUTION: To operate the floating vessel(7), a packing(3) is inserted into a jaw(2) of a valve frame(1), and a water stopper(6) having a wing(22) on a haft(5) of a valve(4) is secured. The valve frame(1) is connected to a water supply pipe(11) of a water tank(9), and the haft(5) of the valve(4) is inserted into a hole(8) of the floating vessel(7). Later, a water (conduit) pipe(16) is connected to the bottom hole(12) of the water tank(9), and a lid(20) is closed. The floating vessel(7) is made of materials having the same specific gravity as fluid inside the water tank(9).
