FIELD: metallurgy; heat treatment of martensitic precipitation-hardening steels. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method may be used for production of parts working in acid media under load not below 0.8 of 517 Mpa in Northern regions. Proposed method enhances level of plastic characteristics and impact strength at negative temperatures. During heat treatment of martensitic precipitation-hardening steels, they are subjected to hardening at temperature of 900-1000 C continued during 1 h and two-stage double aging at temperature of from 650 C and not above 67520 C and at temperature of 620 C10 C; operation at each stage is continued for 4 h as minimum. ^ EFFECT: enhanced resistance to hydrogen sulfide cracking of parts. ^ 2 cl, 2 tbl, 1 ex
