<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a regenerative cycle gas turbine and a regenerator of the gas turbine capable of reducing emission of nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, and hydrocarbon in exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: The regenerative cycle gas turbine 21 comprises a compressor 3 for introducing and compressing air, a turbine 7 for driving a generator 13 and the compressor 3 by heat energy of combustion gas to emit exhaust gas, the regenerator 25 for introducing air from the compressor 3, heat-exchanging between the introduced air and the exhaust gas from the turbine 7, and outputting the air as combustion air, a combustor 9 for burning fuel and the combustion air from the regenerator 25 and feeding the combustion gas to the turbine 7, an inhalation means 23 for letting the compressor 3 inhale a reducing organic compound, a catalyst 34a provided in an air side heat-exchanger 27 or an air side pipe 33 of the regenerator 25 for promoting partial oxidation of organic compounds contained in the combustion air, and a load control means for controlling a load to make the temperature of the catalyst 34a the most suitable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
