<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an idling stop control device for a vehicle capable of preventing the vehicle from starting to move after a driver leaves the vehicle by quickly making the driver recognize a condition where braking force by a parking brake is less than the creep force by engine restart when he/she opens the door. <P>SOLUTION: In an idling stop control device for an vehicle provided with an idling stop control means automatically stopping an engine 1 when a brake is operated under a condition of vehicle stop and automatically restarting the engine 1 when the brake operation is released, a hill hold control means keeping vehicle standstill for a predetermined period of time after brake operation release when brake operation is released under a condition of automatic stop of the engine 1, a door switch 41 detecting open close state of at least a driver seat side door, and a hill hold releasing step S12 releasing vehicle standstill by the hill hold control means when door open is detected before restart of the engine 1 are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
