<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that prevents damage to a photoreceptor drum and deformation of a pre-transfer guide plate in a jam removing processing or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, the pre-transfer guide plate 15 for guiding a recording sheet 3A to a photoreceptor drum 16 is disposed on the member of the main body of the apparatus so as to be turned with a rotation support shaft 24. A stopper 26 projectingly disposed on the holding plate part 22 of the pre-transfer guide plate 15 comes into contact with and is engaged with the lower end of a photoreceptor holder 25, so that a gap through which the recording sheet 3A is passed is formed. The member of the main body of the apparatus is provided with a turn stopping pin 28 that comes into contact with and is engaged with the holding plate part 22 when a counter-plate part 15B is separated from the peripheral face of the photoreceptor drum 16 only by a predetermined distance when the pre-transfer guide plate 15 is turned by pulling the recording sheet 3A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
