<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable which has an effective structure to prevent mutual adhesion between sheath flat face parts and in which workability is improved, safety is secured and cost is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: Among the flat face parts 16, 16 and curved face parts 17, 17 which constitute the outer peripheral surface of the sheath 13, in the center of one flat face part 16, one or one group of minute protrusions 18 which become a point contact with the partner to be overlapped, are arranged and formed intermittently with a spacing in the cable longitudinal direction.
