BLOOD PRESSURE MONITORING DEVICE AND ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure monitoring device wherein blood pressure is measured stably, installing is very easy and a burden on a patient is reduced. SOLUTION: The device is provided with: an ultrasonic transmission and reception means 2 for transmitting an ultrasonic pulse signal into a living body and receiving an ultrasonic echo signal being a reflected signal from a blood vessel in the living body to convert it to an electric signal; a blood vessel diameter calculation means 5 which detects the phase of the ultrasonic echo signal converted to the electric signal by the ultrasonic transmission and reception means and calculates the diameter of the blood vessel; and a conversion means 6 for converting the maximum value and the minimum value of the blood vessel diameter calculated by the blood vessel diameter calculation means respectively corresponding to the highest blood pressure level and the lowest blood pressure level of the living body. The conversion means coordinates the maximum value and the minimum value of the blood vessel diameter to the highest blood pressure level and the lowest blood pressure level obtained uniquely as the reference of conversion.
