PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein when translucent composition in a server-client type window system, which requires original images of windows, issues rendering instructions to a client in order to acquire them, a server cannot determine whether actual rendering in the client is rendering by an update of window images or rendering for translucent composition. SOLUTION: When issuing a rendering instruction to a client, server software adds identification information unique to the rendering instruction before sending the rendering instruction.
