PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a geographic information processing service system for providing an efficient service. SOLUTION: This geographic information processing service system 1 for executing geographic information processing by using map data 32 in response to a processing request transmitted from a client 2 connected through a network 4, and for returning the processing result to the client 2 is provided with a communication means 34 for receiving the processing request made by the client 2 without receiving the transmission of the map data 32 from the geographic information processing service system 1, and for returning the geographic information processing result to the client 2 as data in which the map data are not included, a data conversion means 33 for converting the received processing request into a data format for geographic information processing, and for converting the data of the geographic information processing result into a data format for communication and a geographic information processing means 31 for executing the geographic information processing, and for generating data in which the map data are not included.
