PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of a texture cache without largely increasing hardware by dynamically switching the generation of an index. SOLUTION: This computer graphics plotting device is provided with a pixel arithmetic means 1 for outputting texture coordinates 10, and for outputting at least either the combination of a filtering mode 11 and a mipmap level 12 as texture adaptation information or the combination of a multi-texture number 13 and a texture identifier 14 and a texture processing means 2 for judging the conditions of at least one of whether or not the mipmap level 12 is included in the filtering mode 11, or whether or not the multi-texture 13 is one or more, and for generating an index 15 to instruct cache entry by using an index generation function to minimize the number of entries between contexts based on the current number of contexts, and for generating a reference texel value 16 from the index 15, and for outputting it to the pixel arithmetic means 1.
